The Alumni are a strong support to our institution. Our active Alumni Association is contributing in academic matters, student support as well as mobilization of resources – both financial and non financial.

            The institution nurtures the alumni association to facilitate them to contribute significantly to the development of the institution. The alumni association of our college is registered with the name ‘Alumni Association, Government Degree College, Chirala’. It is registered with the register number 400 of 2018 with “The Registrar of Societies, Ongole. The following is executive body of our Alumni Association: President- Smt.G.Lalitha Kumari, Vice President:Smt.K.Purna Kumari, Secretary: Smt.S.Savithri, Treasurer:Smt.M.Jyothi and V. Meena member.

            Our Alumni has bank account in Union Bank of India, Chirala branch with account number: 679502010003670. The construction of an  open air Auditorium at the cost of Rs 14,00,000 in our college campus is completed is completed in 2021-22 with cooperation of our alumni.This auditorium was inaugurated by Hon’ble Commissioner of Collegiate Education Sri. Pola Bhaskar  garu. This is a remarkable achievement. They are successful in creating a sense of solidarity and sisterhood among the past and presents students of the college.  The College conducts meetings with its Alumni Association to seek suggestions regarding the functioning of the college and infrastructure facilities. The alumni offer advice in matters related to the welfare of the students. They contact people who are interested in donating in cash or kind to the college. They have donated 4 sewing machines. Our Alumnars  Smt K. Purna kumari has donated the college  bags worth of Rs 70,000 to the students. She has also donated note books to the Students for every year. She has donated submericible bore motor and water tank of 1000Ltrs storage capacity.She donated 2 sewing machines which are used to give training in tailoring to the students. She pays the hostel mess fees of poor students and also helps the students to pursue the PG Courses and also given uniforms to the students. Smt Ayesha distributes  sanitary napkins to the students every year.

            Two alumni meetings are organized every year. The alumni association can be considered an asset for the college. The alumni often visit the college and guide the students in their academic matters and career issues. They obtain feedback from the students and communicate it to the college administration. They also take the grievances of the students to the grievance reddresal cell for providing for solving problems and providing better facilities.The alumni association can be considered an asset to the institution.
