BRIEF PROFILE OF SPEAKER:
Dr Mutta Reddy is a retired professor of government degree colleges, Guntur and Chirala. Besides his long teaching experience,He was in active research.Two students received Ph.Ds and four received M.Phils under his research guidance.He had to his credit around 40 research papers in national and international journals.He has completed two minor research projects and conducted two national seminars.Earlier to his teaching career,he had worked for a few years in reputed laboratories like BARC and IICT.Born to illiterate parents in a backward region,he rose to this stature out of his hard work,commitment and dedication.
OBJECTIVES:
1.To know the basics and scope of analytical chemistry
2.To know about career opportunities for chemistry students.
3.To make students realise the importance of pursuing higher education in chemistry.
REPORT:
He gave the introduction about various instrumental methods of analysis.Students were apprised of broad spectrum of oppurtunities for chemists and shared his experiences in BARC and IICT.
OUTCOME:
Students actively interacted with speaker and they were very much motivated.
